CONG KEEPING WATCH ON ITS MLAS

LUCKNOW : The Congress is keeping a close eye on its MLAs to check any cross voting in biennial election to 10 Rajya Sabha seats. UP Congress president Raj Babbar and senior party leader Pramod Tiwari have reached the state capital to camp here and coordinate with leaders of other parties for a joint strategy to ensure victory of the opposition’s joint nominee BR Ambedkar (BSP). Senior party leader PL Punia and others will also reach here to watch the developmen­ts. Congress Legislatur­e Party leader Ajay Kumar Lallu is keeping in touch with the MLAs. They have been for lunch on Thursday to finalise the strategy.
