PG SEATS UNDER DISABILITY QUOTA INCREASED TO 5%

NEW DELHI: Postgraduate (PG) medical seats under the disability quota have increased from 3% to 5%, said the Union health ministry in a statement on Wednesday. The ministry has granted approval to amend the regulation for admission to PG medical courses, to be filled up by persons with disabilities, in accordance with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. The amendment has come after 20 years.
