Cops arrest two for posing as CM’s OSD

LUCKNOW: Cops arrested two persons on Wednesday on charges of duping a person by posing as officer on special duty (OSD) to the chief minister.

Those arrested have been identified as Amit Agarwal, 46, a resident of Lucknow and Tej Pratap Singh, 52, a native of Mau district. Both the persons were arrested from near the GPO Park, Hazratganj.

According to cops, the duo made a phone call to one Pramod Gupta of Moradabad, posing as an OSD to the chief minister.

They promised to get Gupta’s work done from the state government. Gupta lodged a complaint with the Lucknow police.

After keeping on surveillan­ce cell phone numbers of the two fraudsters, the Hazratganj police arrested the duo from near the GPO Park.
