THOSE WHO SUP­PORT TER­ROR­ISTS SHOULD BE SHOT: BAJRANG DAL LEADER

MEERUT: A Bajrang Dal leader has trig­gered a con­tro­versy by al­legedly sug­gest­ing that those who raised anti-In­dia slo­gans in the Ali­garh Mus­lim Univer­sity (AMU) af­ter a mil­i­tant Manan Wani was killed in Kash­mir, should also face an en­counter with se­cu­rity forces.

Bal­raj Singh Dun­gar, the Bajrang Dal’s prant sany­o­jag, made the con­tro­ver­sial state­ment dur­ing a pro­gramme of the or­gan­i­sa­tion’s women wing Durga Vahini in Bagh­pat on Satur­day. Speak­ing to HT, Dun­gar said bul­lets should be pumped into chest of those who sup­port ter­ror­ists and their acts in the coun­try. He said such el­e­ments de­serve no mercy.
