WARNE IS RR AMBASSADOR

MUMBAI: Rajasthan Royals on Sunday announced that Shane Warne would be their royal brand ambassador for the 2019 Indian Premier League.

Warne, who led the franchise to title in the inaugural edition of the T20 extravaganza in 2008, captained the side for four seasons till 2011 before retiring from all forms of cricket. He had served as the team’s mentor last year. The Royals also announced pink as their official colour in recognition of the deep rooted link between the colour and the state of Rajasthan where the team is based.
