Board toppers to create awareness on Covid-19

LUCKNOW : Twelve UP board toppers of Lucknow have been tasked with creating awareness among the masses about the need to maintain social distancing during this Pandemic COVID-19. This is the first of its kind effort by the local administration to involve meritorious students in creating awareness about the global pandemic among the masses. District magistrate Abhishek Prakash felicitated the UP board toppers and then handed them their new social responsibility which the young accepted immediately. They said they were up for the challenge of educating masses about importance of maintaining social distancing in the fight against COVID-19.

The high school toppers from Lucknow included Alisha Ansari, Ankit Mishra, Apoorva Shukla, Saloni Singh, Aman Kumar Dwivedi, Anjali Verma, Matansh Ansari. Those felicitated for topping intermediate examinations included Keshav, Abhijit, Ayushman Mishra, Jagriti Mishra and Asma Ansari.

They were also gifted a book ‘Exam Warriors’ penned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a copy of selected poems authored by former PM AB Vajpayee and Wings of Fire authored by former president APJ Abdul Kalam.
