Airport officials held for stealing liquor bottles
NEW DELHI: Three employees at the Indira Gandhi International Airport were held for stealing liquor bottles confiscated from the bag of a passenger flying to Bhubaneshwar on Saturday.
The three staff members of ground handling services were identified by CISF officials as being culpable in stealing the bottles.
They were seen taking the two bottles of liquor, seized from a registered bag.
A statement said staff informed officials they were trying to hand over the bottles to another staff member, instead of taking it to their office.
The responsible parties were caught on CCTV. All of them confessed to their involvement in the incident.
