Truck crushes youth to death in Karnal

: A 25-year-old youth was crushed to death by a speeding truck on the Karnal-Meerut road on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Rakesh Sharma of Dabkoli village of Karnal district and was working with the local cable operator. According to the police the incident took place when the truck hit the motorcycle of the deceased and he fell on the road.The truck driver could not stop the truck and the youth was crushed to death, they aid.Though the driver managed to flee the spot, the police have booked him under Section 304 A (causing death by negligence) of the Indian Penal Code and started investigation to arrest him. The body was sent for postmortem.
