Multiple attacks on woman in Kulgam, south Kashmir

SRINAGAR: A Kashmiri news portal reported the case of a 17-year-old girl Nahida (name changed) in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district. On the morning of September 23, Nahida was preparing tea for her family when she fell unconsciou­s. Her 68-yearold grandmothe­r, who was nearby, told the portal that her “vision was blurred”. When Nahida regained consciousn­ess, she says her hair were chopped. The alleged trauma did not stop there. The next night, Nahida says she was asleep in her bedroom but woke up in the kitchen with more of her hair cut. She says she was attacked last month also.
