The Allahabad high court’s acquittal of the Talwars in their daughter, Aarushi, and domestic help Hemraj’s murder speaks volumes of the unprofessional ways of investigating agencies. It is a concern that the murderer has not been traced and brought to justice. It raises doubts about the functional efficiency of the police and the Central Bureau of Investigation. Aarushi and Hemraj must get justice and it is the responsibility of the state to ensure that. As of now, it seems nobody killed Aarushi and Hemraj. Subhash Vaid
