Try trolling a celebrity nowadays and tell us if you don’t get beaten black and blue. Virtually, of course. With the last of who we’d imagine would go all guns blazing on social media — sanskari babuji Alok Nath himself — we realised there’s no holding back celebs anymore when nasty tweets come their way.

While Nath using the word ‘b***h’ in a reply to activist Kavita Krishnan after she slammed PM Modi’s #Selfie WithaDaughter campaign raised many a brow, here are others whose fireball tweets don’t come as a surprise.

Rishi Kapoor: The veteran actor is known for giving it back to users who try to troll him. “You sure are a loser man. So frustrated. No humour. So downmarket. Get a life! D***head,” he had tweeted in reply to a troll.

Vishal Dadlani: An active Twitter activist, the singercomposer shot back at a user who said he should refrain from abusing, saying, “You shouldn’t be an uptight, prudish a**wipe on one either. Now f*** off !”

Sonakshi Sinha: The actor settled score with the undisputed king of foul words on Twitter, actor Kamaal R Khan, when he conducted a poll on which female actor in Bollywood has the best derriere. Sonakshi tweeted: “Please RTT this if u think @kamaalrkhan is a woman disrespecting waste of space and deserves to be hung upside down and given 4 tight slaps.”

Salman Khan: The actor speaks his mind, both on social media and off it. The last he lashed out was when a fake handle in his name went on to abuse his contemporaries. “To put another actor, friend down, down is no fan of mine, don’t like,” he wrote.

Add to that actors Sonam Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan who recently silenced their detractors (see tweets), and the list is complete!
