Releasing music independently ‘scary’ for Nick Jonas
American singer Nick Jonas (right) has revealed that he finds releasing music on his own to be a daunting task. The 22-year-old — who churned out songs with siblings Kevin and Joe as part of pop rock band, Jonas Brothers, when he began his singing career — said he took a chance by going solo, reported Access Hollywood Live.
“It has been a crazy year-and-a-half, a lot of special experiences and things that even in my eight year journey with my brothers that I never experienced, that I’m experiencing now... I took a chance and stepped out on my own, which is always scary,” he said, adding that despite the initial nerves, he was happy to able to “connect” with his fans.
“In being authentic and true to what was relevant to me and what I want to talk about, it (my music) connected with people,” Nick said.
