ABCD 2 FACES MAJOR CUTS IN PAKISTAN

-

Not all Bollywood fans in Pakistan got to watch filmmaker Remo D’Souza’s ABCD 2 without major cuts. Reason: Islamabad’s Central Board of Film Censors removed all sequences showing the Indian Tricolour, including the climax. Not just that, scenes with lip-locks, too, were excluded. “Due to excessive editing in the film, especially in the last song (Vande Mataram), we opted not to exhibit it,” Nadeem Mandviwalla, a cineplex owner was quoted as saying by a Mumbai tabloid. However, two other cinemas chose to screen it with cuts.
