While he played the perfect husband in Saraswatichandra, TV actor Gautam Rode (left) says that he’s had no time for relationships in the last four years. The 37-year-old, who has been working on shows back to back, says that his work has not left him with time to date someone or meet new people. “I am still single. I have been working continuously for four years and I’ve had no time to date anyone. My work kept me so busy,” he says.

The actor further adds that he has no idea when he’d tie the knot. “I don’t know when I’d get married. It is not like marriage scares me. It’s just about finding the right girl,” says Gautam. The actor’s show, Mahakumbh, has come to an end and he says that he does not want to take up a period drama anytime soon. “This show was very heavy and I had to really work on myself. It had become very hectic and as much as I enjoyed it, I don’t want to be a part of such a period drama anytime soon. I want to do something more contemporary now. I want to do something easier now,” he says.

Meanwhile, the actor is off to Dubai to attend a friend’s wedding, and is looking forward to his break. “I am going to Dubai soon for a wedding. I can’t say much about finding girls at the wedding but all I can say is that I am really looking forward to my break,” he says.
