Actor Ira Dubey (above), who has shot films such as Aisha (2010) and Dilli Wali Girlfriend in Delhi before, was in the Capital again to promote her upcoming film.

The 30-year-old says she loves the city and never lets go of an opportunity to visit the Capital. “Delhi has always been very warm and close to my heart. I have spent years growing up here, and I am looking forward to the city’s food and shopping here again!” says the actor.

On the acting front, Ira is playing the lead role of an Assamese woman in the movie. Fascinated by her character, Ira learned Assamese as well as their traditional dance, Bihu. “I found my role in this movie really interesting. The director’s (Biswajeet Bora) wife, Lopa was a great help and support to me in learning the language as well as their culture. We visited the markets in Assam to shop, eat the food and observe people. I have to say it was super fun,” she says.
