The spell­bind­ing Eid ka chaand will have ev­ery­one un­der its charm, and many from the showbiz are go­ing to celebrate the fes­ti­val with gusto

ALI FAZAL

“I am go­ing to Lucknow to be with my fam­ily this Eid. Un­for­tu­nately I’ll have to fly back the same day be­cause of prior com­mit­ments in Mum­bai. I will be go­ing for na­maz with my grand­dad. And will also visit the old al­leys of the town from where my an­ces­tors come and bond with the fam­ily,” Fazal says.

RAK­SHANDA KHAN

Ac­tor Rak­shanda Khan is look­ing for­ward to the fes­ti­val as this is her first Eid with her daugh­ter. “It is a spe­cial day for us as this is our first Eid with our daugh­ter. For us Eid and Di­wali are cel­e­brated in the same way. We dec­o­rate the house with lights and flow­ers,” she says.

MO­HAM­MAD NAZIM

Mo­ham­mad Nazim is all set to go to Punjab to celebrate Eid with his fam­ily. “I al­ways go to Punjab as my fam­ily is set­tled there and celebrate Eid with them”. His Eid plans in­cludes a lot of shop­ping for his fam­ily a and or­gan­is­ing par­ties for them. “I am sure its go­ing to be great fun this year,” he says.

HUMA QURESHI

“I am shoot­ing in Lon­don with my brother (ac­tor Saqib Saleem) for our up­com­ing film (Bol­ly­wood re­make of Ocu­lus).I am plan­ning to have an Eid lunch with the whole cast and crew. And as soon as we pack up, I am hop­ing to catch a show of Ba­jrangi Bhai­jaan, too,” says Huma.

ZA­REEN KHAN

“I’d be shoot­ing this Eid, but I’ll pack up early to go home for a lav­ish feast with the fam­ily. We all get to­gether and my mom makes sump­tu­ous del­i­ca­cies, which I en­joy only this time around the year. It sends my diet and calo­rie count for a toss. Later, I plan to take my mom out for a va­ca­tion,” says Za­reen.

AAMIR AND SAN­JEEDA

Ac­tor Aamir Ali has a set plan ev­ery year for Eid. He makes sure to celebrate with his wife ac­tor San­jeeda Sheikh and his mother. “Like ev­ery year, I will go for morn­ing prayers and come back home to take bless­ings from mom. She still gives me eidi,” he says.

IR­RFAN KHAN

Ac­tor Ir­rfan Khan is busy shoot­ing for his next film in Mum­bai but will work harder to wind up early. “I am shoot­ing on Eid. But I will try to come back home early and spend the time with my fam­ily,” says Ir­rfan, who is busy with his next, which also stars ac­tor Aish­warya Rai Bachchan.

AYUB KHAN

This Eid, it will be spe­cial for ac­tor Ayub Khan, as his kids are home from board­ing school. “I have my fam­ily over to my place, also my kids who study at board­ing school have come home to celebrate Eid, so it is go­ing to be a lav­ish af­fair with lots of food and sweets. I will also celebrate it with the cast and crew, when I am work­ing,” he says.

IM­RAN AB­BAS

“I have been busy with my up­com­ing film, di­rected by Muzaf­far Ali. I was re­luc­tant to ask Muz­za­far Saab if I can go home (Pak­istan) as there was a lot of dub­bing to be done, but fi­nally I asked him and he im­me­di­ately said yes. I am very happy as Eid is some­thing very spe­cial to me and I like to spend it with my fam­ily back home,” Im­ran says
