A task that leaves Sona stressed

Actor Sonakshi Sinha, who is judging a singing reality TV show for kids for the first time, says the elimination round is one aspect that completely stresses her out. “I get really nervous on those days. I can’t imagine what the kids must be going through. They’ve grown so close to each other. They support each other, and help each other out. It must be really tough for them to see one of their own leave the show,” says the 28-year-old actor, who makes it a point to spend time with the young participants on the day they have to leave the show, just to boost their moral. “I sit with them in the hope that it gives them some strength, and for them to realise that it’s okay to leave the show, as they’ve already come so far,” she says.

And while she lends some support, Sona says that the kids on the show have also inspired her in many ways. “These kids are immensely talented, and are so inspiring. I’ve been learning the drums for a while, and watching them week after week makes me want to take up singing as well,” she says.
