While there are many actors who like to stay in the news and like to share their offscreen lives on their social media profiles, actor Vidya

Balan (above) has stayed away from it all so far. She says that she might not be comfortable letting social media enter her personal space.

“Others, perhaps, have things to say to people. I don’t. Not beyond or outside of my films. Therefore, I only talk about my films. In fact, I don’t think I will be comfortable talking about personal stuff or posting personal pictures. And most importantly, I don’t think I will be okay commenting on things on a regular basis,” says the 37-year-old actor.

And she describes herself as one of the most “antisocial” persons, but with a pleasant twist. “I might shy away from social media because in a certain way, I am the most anti-social social,” says the Kahaani actor, explaining, “I love people and I love being around people. But I need one-on-one interactions. I don’t really like this faceless interaction with people. I need to hear the voice, see the expression and connect at a personal level.” Balan says that she would rather connect with people on a personal level, which is far more enriching than connecting over the internet.
