‘Co-parenting is really hard’
Oscar winning actor
(above) says that coparenting with her former husband Chris Martin has been hard. The 42-year-old actor said the pair has gone through “difficult times”, but that their children Apple, 11, and Moses, 8, are the main priority, reports femalefirst. co.uk. “It’s been hard and we’ve gone through tough times, but we’ve always said these kids are our priority. Unfortunately, although we couldn’t stay in a romantic relationship, our values are very much around the importance of family and the importance of those bonds, and I’m lucky that we’re aligned in that way,” says Paltrow, who’s currently dating Glee co-creator Brad Falchuk. Paltrow also praised Martin: “I’m very, very lucky that I have a partner who’s willing to do it with me in a collaborative way. I’m really for Chris and he’s really for me, and our children are our priority.” What that really means is: Even if you hate me and never want to see me again, we are going to brunch. It’s definitely imperfect, (but we) are really great friends (and) he’s a great dad.” The former couple had parted ways in March 2014, after 10 years of marriage.
