Actor Rahul Roy’s (above) role in Aashiqui made him a star and his long hair became a trend. He says he feels blessed about being part of such a loved film. “People still talk about the film with so much of affection. I feel very good about the film, as it has had an impact in my life even after 25 years of its release. This speaks volumes about the film. I am happy just being part of a film which is remembered like that. Who knows I might be a part of a project with Bhatt sahab in the 25th year of my debut,” says Rahul, who remembers his first shot. “When I walked on to the sets to give my first shot, Pooja Bhatt was there, and she was the first one to say that I am the right choice for the movie,” he says. Even though his chemistry with Anu made them both stars, Rahul is not in touch with her. “Last I heard about her, she was writing a book,” he says.
