Singer Adnan Sami (far right) might have had a turbulent personal life, but he says that his wife Roya Faryabi (right) has always stood by him and never run away from his problems. “When she came into my life, I was going through a very turbulent period. My father had just passed away and I was very close to him. I was also making frequent visits to court because of a bad previous marriage. I was an emotional wreck,” says Adnan, adding, “Roya and I happened to meet at that point and she pulled me together and held my hand through thick and thin. She stood by me like a rock.” The two got married in 2010.

The 45-year-old singer went through two unsuccessful marriages, but says that Roya never brought up his past in their relationship. “Had it been someone else, it would have been very easy for them to turn around and say, ‘Excuse me, what do I have to do with your problems?’ But never once did she ever mention about my past. She has had a calming effect on my life,” he says.

About his marriage, he says, “It is priceless, and everyone can see how valuable she is in my life and the way she has walked through the storm with me.”
