Actor Shivin Narang (right), who has made a name for himself in the TV industry, says he never felt the need to have a godfather who would support him to achieve success.

“I don’t think you need a godfather to make it big in the industry. I never felt the need to have one. It depends on whom you are working with, because they can teach you a lot,” says Shivin, who plays the role of Ranvijay Singh in a daily show.

Talking about why working with the right people is important, the actor says, “TV shows are an outcome of team work and if you have good people on the sets, you can learn from them. It is everyone’s efforts that makes a show popular.”

Asked if he has a success mantra, the Delhi-born-actor says that though he does not have a particular success mantra, but he believes in giving it his best shot. “I focus on hard work and do my part honestly,” he says.
