Not in the rat race, says Tabu

In her 20-year career, Tabu (below) has never been on a film signing spree because for her, a good role is enough to keep an actor alive in the audience’s mind.

The 43-year-old Haider star says, “I can’t do back-to-back films. I can’t do promotions. I cannot do anything in excess. If I like something, I’ll do it. Otherwise I won’t. I never felt the need to be in the rat race.”

The actor says that she does projects which give her satisfaction, not just because everyone else is doing that kind of work. “I should be satisfied first with my work. I will not do something because everyone is doing it,” she says.
