Aamir, thulla mat kaho na!
After Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, actor Aamir Khan has landed in trouble over his usage of the slang ‘thulla’ for cops.
Filmmaker Ull has PR filed a complaint against the actor at New Ashok Nagar police station in the Capital on Sunday, for calling Delhi Police ‘thulla’ in his film PK (2014).
“I saw the film on July 26 on TV. In the film, Aamir has called a police officer ‘thulla’ in one scene. For the past few days, I’ve been thinking that if a complaint can be filed against the Delhi CM for using this word, then why hasn’t any complaint been filed against the actor, whose films are seen across the world?” says Ullas. He has also handed the police some DVDs of the scene where Aamir is seen relieving himself against the walls of the Red Fort, before using the slang ‘thulla’.
The filmmaker said he had earlier filed a complaint against Kejriwal with the home ministry after he called his government ‘Kejriwal sarkar’ in advertisements instead of Delhi government. Earlier, he had also filed a complaint against actor Amitabh Bachchan for “not singing the National Anthem in a proper manner”.
