Working with senior actors mostly turns out to be a learning experience for young stars. Similarly, when actor Karan Khanna (above) started shooting with seasoned TV actor Shilpa Saklani (right) for a show, he couldn’t stop raving about her modesty.

“It’s so amazing to work with Shilpa. Off screen, we have a lot of fun on the set. Whenever she is on the set, she spreads a lot of positive vibes and I just love that,” says Karan, who plays the lead role of Saral in the daily show. “I have seen her work in different shows, but my favourite was the role of Ganga in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. She made the role so real that everyone could connect with it,” she adds.

Karan also shares a common interest with Shilpa, who has also worked in shows such as Lavanya and Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahi. “I am a big dog lover, but I guess Shilpa is the best dog lover I have ever seen in my life. Recently, I saved a street dog from an accident. Later, when I shared this, Shilpa got really concerned and asked if there was anything she could do to help the injured pooch,” he says.
