Multi-masking: Are you ready to ‘face’ it ?
You know all about multitasking, but are you up to date when it comes to multimasking? These days, it’s all about combining different scrubs, gels and creams, depending on what’s going on in each of your facial zones.
For example, you might have an oily T-zone but have chafed skin on your cheeks, or a particularly sensitive or puffy eye area. Multi-masking allows you to create one masterfully tailored mask from several lesser masks to suit your skin’s individual needs. The trend has taken root on Instagram, where users are mixing up masks, to clown-like but beneficial effect, dividing their skincare products over two or three separate zones, showing results with the hashtag #multimasking. Beauty blogger Renee Clementine suggests using masks that need the same time on the skin, as trying to wash your nose without getting water on your chin could prove tricky. She also recommends opting for masks that are removed the same way, for similar reasons.
