We should be able to inspire people to produce more content, which is far more edgier and relevant Rohan Joshi, AIB member

It is young fans coming with their parents to enjoy their shows that gives the five-member comic group, AIB, most satisfaction. We spoke to AIB’s members

Rohan Joshi (above right) and Gursimran Khamba (above far right), who were in Delhi recently to talk about YouTube comedy hunt, India’s leading comedians’ search to find the country’s next best comedy act. “It’s great to see youngsters bring parents with them to watch us live,” says Khamba.“It’s exciting to seeing their reactions. They probably didn’t even know that Indians are capable of being stand-ups. It’s heartening to see families enjoy our shows together,” he adds. They say that watching comic shows helps parents understand that it can be a viable profession. “The best part is, they probably won’t stop their kids from doing stand-up. We should be able to inspire people to produce more content that is far more edgier and relevant,” says Rohan.
