Kabir Khan is like J P Dutta: Saif Ali Khan

Hindustan Times (Patna) - Live - - Front Page -

Actor Saif Ali Khan (top) says that director Kabir Khan (below) has similarities with veteran director J P Dutta (above) when it comes to capturing the rugged essence of the country.

Saif, who will be seen in Kabir’s next, says, “Kabir Khan is like J P Dutta sahab. I think there are no other directors apart from these two who can showcase India’s ruggedness on the big screen. The manner in which the shots of Himalayas were taken or the one showing the rugged landscape of India (in the film) are brilliant since he (Kabir) knows about these things.”

Kabir’s next touches upon Mumbai’s 26/11 attacks. Sharing his experience working in the film, Saif says: “Kabir made me work extremely hard, especially in places such as Beirut and in the Middle-East and other dangerous places where we shot.”
