If dad has to choose between my younger sister, I and Abhishek Bachchan, we all know he’ll choose Abhishek

Nidhi Dutta, JP Dutta’s daughter

Debutante actor Nidhi Dutta (above) says her father, filmmaker JP Dutta, is very fond of actor Abhishek Bachchan (below, right) and even treats the latter like his own son. “For dad, we are three siblings – my younger sister, I and Abhishek! If he ever has to choose between us, we all know that dad will choose Abhishek over us any day. They both are very fond of each other,” laughs Nidhi.

JP Dutta had launched Abhishek in Refugee in 2000, and now he is launching his own daughter Nidhi in a travel-based film. She will be seen playing a travel blogger in it.

Nidhi says she thoroughly enjoyed shooting for the film because she loves travelling. “I find travelling therapeutic. Be it across India or abroad, travelling has always given me a fresh perspective on life. From visiting the ancient Shiva temples at Hampi, to sitting and enjoying a croissant on the steps of the vibrant Montmartre in Paris, I feel I have a lot of stories to share, so I might even start my own blog. Experiences only get richer as we share them,” she says.
