You may have read about actors who continue to prefer shooting despite being unwell, so that they don’t disturb the schedule or cause losses to the producer. Well, Yami Gautam (above) is one of them. The actor was down with fever a night prior to a magazine shoot recently, but refused to postpone it.

“Yami was not keeping well and was advised by the doctor to rest for a few days before resuming work. However, her shoot for a magazine had been planned earlier. She didn’t want to go back on her word,” says a source close to the actor.

Yami was also aware that a lot of peo- ple were involved in the shoot and she did not want to cancel things last minute. “In fact, due to some technical glitches, the shoot went on for seven hours,” the source added.

Yami’s spokesperson confirmed the news and said, “She is very particular about her work commitments.”

Recently, actor Kareena Kapoor Khan continued shooting for her film despite losing her voice during a scene that required her to shout. Actor Amitabh Bachchan, too, did not halt the shoot for a film despite suffering from extreme toothache.
