Anne makes her way to television
In a bid to try something new, Hollywood actor Anne Hathaway (above) is giving TV a shot. The actor has signed on to star in the limited series, The Ambassador’s Wife, based on a newly-released novel by Jennifer Steil.
The show is about an American woman nabbed in Yemen, Middle East, and is inspired by the author’s personal experiences. Hathaway, 32, will play the central character, Miranda, a bohemian artist who falls in love with Finn, the British ambassador to an Arab country. She finds herself in a life for which she has no preparation.
Hathaway is also on board as the producer. The project is in early stages since no writer or director has been attached yet.
