Take care of stress: Karisma’s advice to women
Actor Karisma Kapoor (right), a mother of two, has said that stress is the “toughest” aspect that women need to deal with, and she believes it’s important that they control it from a young age.
Karisma, who recently went to an interactive session in Mumbai, spoke about women and stress. She said: “Being a young mother and trying to balance everything, I can say that the biggest thing for us women is to take care of stress. We start stressing the moment we wake up. We worry about things like, ‘What should we make for food’, ‘What would my daughter eat’, ‘How do I get them to eat the nutrients in each meal’. Stress is the toughest thing to deal with.”
Karisma’s advice to all women is to eat right and also do physical activities to stay fit and keep away from stress. “My way of de-stressing and being healthy is that I do a lot of Yoga. I take walks... and being a Kapoor, I love to eat. You may not believe me, but I ate a pizza at my shoot yesterday,” she said.
“I enjoy my food, but then, I also take out the time to exercise, but in a healthy way. I’m not into gymming or taking supplements, as I try to do it in the healthiest way possible. Eat healthy and also spoil yourself with pizzas and biryani like I do, but do everything in moderation,” she added.
