She may be just one film old, but actor Ridhima Sud (above right) seems to have already made space for herself in the film industry. The actor — who worked alongside stars such as Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar, among others, in filmmaker Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do — has bagged a three-film deal with John Abraham (right) and Shoojit Sircar’s production house. And Ridhima just can’t stop gushing about John, with whom she has already finished shooting for one of the films.

“John is a warm, kind man with a great work ethic. Although I didn’t learn many tricks of the trade from him, I learned the dynamics of working on a set; the way John, the superstar, carries himself. He is so humble, and as a senior he took great care of us,” says Ridhima, who hopes to imbibe these qualities as she grows in Bollywood.

The 24-year-old Delhi girl adds the she’s in awe of actors who not only contribute to the society with the films they make, but also champion social causes. “I’ve always been inspired by Farhan Akhtar — he’s not only good at filmmaking and acting, but is equally fantas- tic when it comes to talking about social causes and spreading awareness about the same. I find that really inspiring. I’ve always felt that as an actor, it is one’s duty to be socially responsible,” Ridhima signs off.
