‘I im­i­tated SRK’s di­a­logues’

Ac­tor Sushant Singh Ra­jput (right) says he made sev­eral “fer­vent at­tempts” to im­press girls in school by mouthing Shah Rukh Khan’s di­a­logues from Dil­wale Dul­ha­nia Le Jayenge (1995).

The By­omkesh Bak­shy ac­tor, who is dat­ing ac­tor Ankita Lokhande, said it took him more than three at­tempts to get the fa­mous “Palat...” di­a­logue right. “Watch­ing #DDLJ again & can’t stop smil­ing... My fer­vent at­tempts to im­i­tate and get @iamsrk di­a­logues cor­rect to im­press girls in school (sic),” Sushant tweeted.

“‘Agar woh mu­jhse pyaar karti hai, to pal­tegi. Palat... Palat... Palat’. It took me much more than 3 at­tempts to ac­tu­ally make it work (sic),” he posted on Twit­ter. The ac­tor shared few other di­a­logues from the Shah Rukh-Ka­jol star­rer 1995 film, which com­pleted 1000 weeks at a theatre in Mum­bai.
