Bieber cancels gig due to money issues
Canadian pop star Justin Bieber (right) cancelled a scheduled appearance at Beachclub in Montreal, Canada, due to monetary issues. The 21-year-old singer did not receive the paycheck he was supposed to get from the promoter before the due date, reported aceshowbiz. com. Bieber was scheduled to sing a couple of songs at the hot spot. The contract stated that Bieber would receive half the payment when the papers were signed, and the other half a couple of days before the event. Although he did get the advance money, the promoter did not honour the rest of the contract. When Bieber’s team contacted the promoter, they were promised the money. But that did not happen either, forcing the singer’s team to terminate the contract. “We are incredibly disappointed and upset by the lack of professionalism exhibited by the event’s promoter in violating their contract with Justin Bieber,” said a rep for the Beachclub.
