DON’T GRILL ACTRESSES ON MARRIAGE: SAIF

Hindustan Times (Patna) - Live - - Front Page -

Saif Ali Khan believes that it’s not a good idea to ask female actors about their marriage. This, the actor says, has continued to irk him since the time he used to attend press conferences with Kareena Kapoor, his girlfriend of five years, whom he married in 2012. Saif, 45, says that the scrutiny surrounding the personal life of actors impacts their careers negatively. “People ask single actors when they are getting married. I heard that with Kareena a lot and I hear the same during press conferences that I attend with Katrina (Kaif). It’s dangerous. If you are working in Bollywood, it can impact your career negatively,” he says.

Saif adds that it’s unfair that the actor’s achievements are overlooked: “People are eager to know about their marriage date and if they are married, then their baby plans. Nobody talks about their work.”
