‘I’m glad Ravi is also an actor’

While some TV actors prefer to marry a person who’s not part of their industry, actor Sargun Mehta (above, right) is happy that her husband Ravi Dubey (above, left) is an actor because it helps them understand each other’s lifestyle better.

“I can’t imagine being with somebody from outside the industry, who wouldn’t understand the nature of my work, the timings and the schedules. It’s only because we are from the same industry that we are a lot more supportive of each other. We both understand what our work requires us to do,” says Sargun, who got married to Ravi in 2013.

The 26-year-old actor, who recently made her film debut with the Punjabi film, Angrez, got appreciated for her work. She credits her husband for all the success that she has achieved.

“Without Ravi, I would never be able to reach here. We are always there for each other. We understand the nature of our work and what we want from it. It makes it easier for both of us to decide what we want to do,” she says.
