There is nothing unusual about actors donning multiple costumes to fit their part. But recently, TV actor Aashka Goradia ( above) suffered swelling on her shoulders after wearing a heavy gown and crown while shooting for her show.

“I wear a corset that weighs 3 kgs and a crown weighing 2kgs. I also carry a wand that weighs 7 kgs, which is quite heavy. I have some swelling on my shoulders due to the costume,” says Aashka, who will be seen playing Bhayankar Pari ( inset) in a fantasy show. However, the actor is not complaining, as she is very happy with the kind of grandeur her character has. “I have been given one of the most beautiful costumes on Indian TV. I absolutely love the look that I am donning in this show. I tend to forget everything once I am in my costume,” she says.

The actor says that her costume is inspired from Hollywood star Angelina Jolie’s outfit in Maleficent ( 2014). “The costume in Maleficient is designed so well that I watched that movie again and again. I love Angelina’s work so much. She is one of the few actors I idolise,” she says.
