Actor Gautam Rode (right) says that he gets to hear a lot of gossip about himself, but he has learnt to laugh all of it away. “You can’t do anything about people who spread rumours about you. A rumour can start even if I am seen talking to a lady. In the past, I have been linked to someone who I had never even exchanged numbers with! It is just laughable. I can just joke about it and let it go. There is nothing much you can do about it,” says Rode. He adds that he would openly accept if he was seeing someone. “I would be open about my relationship status if I was dating anyone. This is not something I want to keep under wraps,” he says.

Meanwhile, the 38-year-old, who has hosted many reality shows, says that he is apprehensive about becoming a part of a reality show as a contestant.“I get a lot of offers to participate in reality shows, but I am more of an actor. I am not too comfortable to participate in any such show. I might do it in future, but it all depends on what kind of show it is and if I’m comfortable doing it. I am happy playing a character rather than getting into a reality show,” he says.
