Ir­rfan yearns to spend time with fam­ily

It has been a busy year for ac­tor Ir­rfan (right) with back-to-back re­leases lined up. The ac­tor, whose film Tal­var hit the screens last week and his next, Jazbaa re­leased this Fri­day, wants to spend some qual­ity time with his fam­ily be­fore start­ing his next pro­ject with Geneva-based di­rec­tor Anup Singh.

The 48-year-old ac­tor is es­say­ing the role of a sus­pended po­lice of­fi­cer in San­jay Gupta’s Jazbaa, which also marked the sil­ver screen come­back of ac­tor and for­mer beauty queen Aish­warya Rai Bachchan af­ter moth­er­hood.

“It has been a great year with lots of ex­cit­ing work hap­pen­ing. I have been trav­el­ling ex­ten­sively for shoots and pro­mo­tions. I’m look­ing for­ward to spend­ing some qual­ity time with my fam­ily be­fore I start my next film,” Ir­rfan said .

The in­ter­na­tion­ally­ac­claimed ac­tor will be seen ro­manc­ing Ira­nian ac­tress Gol­shifteh Fara­hani of Body of Lies fame in Singh’s movie, which is based on folk­lore from the In­dian state of Ra­jasthan.
