Fitness comes first for Sonu Sood
Actor Sonu Sood (right) loves exercising and has developed a toned body after rigorous workout sessions. The actor is very particular about his fitness and makes sure to exercise every day.
“I have been maintaining my abs for 20 years. I never get into shape for a particular film or a project,” says Sood, who has flaunted his fit physique in movies such as Ramaiya Vastavaiya (2013), R…Rajkumar (2013) and Gabbar Is Back (2015).
“Fitness is part of my life. I workout for two-anda-half to three hours every day, and don’t believe in having cheat days. I follow a strict diet and worship my body, so I have to take care of that,” he adds.
Although the 42-yearold’s friends complain that he spends way too much time in the gym, Sood feels that it is not enough.
“People say that I should workout less, which, of course, I don’t agree with. A lot of people don’t work out for three hours, seven days a week. So they are the ones who feel I should spend less time in the gym,” says Sood, adding, “People tell me I need to be more social, but I don’t agree with them. They think I should be seen in parties and go out with my friends, but I can’t do that as I don’t enjoy that much.”
