Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui (right) has said that the quality of Indian movies is as good as any other film industry in the world. “Our cinema is no less than any world cinema. We are making good films and they are getting appreciated worldwide, especially at film festivals. It’s not necessary to do a Hollywood film to prove one’s skills as an actor. I don’t think I need to do Hollywood flicks. If I get an opportunity, I will consider it. But it’s not a do or die situation,” says Nawazuddin, who will be seen in the Hollywood project, Lion. The 42-year-old says that he is content with his work so far. Ask him if he wants to do a TV show, and he says: “I don’t watch TV. There’s no time for that. I am enjoying acting in movies. So, it’s better to focus on that only.” He adds that he just hopes to grow with every film as an actor.
