Sarah Jane ditches her heels
No woman should ever be made to wear anything she isn’t comfortable in. It’s the age of individualism Sarah Jane Dias, actor
The likes of Hollywood actors such as Uma Thurman, Cate Blanchett, Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron have worn flat footwear on the red carpet to support the idea that, for women, being fashionable does not only mean wearing high heels. The campaign has turned into a major movement and the latest one to join this list is actor Sarah Jane Dias (right). “This campaign has become big. Everyone has been supporting it. Sarah felt strongly about the cause and decided to take it up. So,
when she walked on the red carpet at the recent Busan International film festival, she wore flat footwear,” says a source close to the actor.
Confirming the news, Sarah says that she was far more comfortable wearing flat footwear than wearing high heels. “It was so comfortable to walk down the carpet in flat shoes. I am going to try to do this as often as possible. No woman should ever be made to wear or do anything she isn’t comfortable in. It’s the age of individualism and if that means minus the heels, then so be it,” she says.
