Mahima as In­drani Muk­er­jea

Bol­ly­wood ac­tor Mahima Chaudhry (right) is all set to foray in Ben­gali films with Ag­nidev Chat­ter­jee’s di­rec­to­rial based on the Sheena Bora mur­der mys­tery.

“I can speak Ben­gali and I am mar­ried to a Ben­gali, so I think I can man­age well with the film’s script,” says Chaud­hary, who mar­ried busi­ness­man Bobby Mukherji in 2006.

The ac­tor has ear­lier been part of Bol­ly­wood films such as Pardes, Bagh­ban and LOC Kargil.

Chat­ter­jee, who has made movies such as Teen Kanya and Charu­u­lataa tweeted dur­ing the shoot: “What a film I am mak­ing, ev­ery­day a new scene pops up.........and per­haps only God knows the end­ing (sic).”

Chaudhry will be seen play­ing Ishani Ban­er­jee, a char­ac­ter based on mur­der ac­cused In­drani Mukher­jea while ac­tor Riya Sen will es­say Rina Bard­han, a role inspired by the short life of Sheena Bora.
