Sandhu (above) recently featured in a music video, but not many know that he took sign language classes from a hearing and speech impaired girl to prepare for his part in the video, which released earlier this month.

“The experience of working with a young bunch of creative kids was amazing,” says Nandish, who rose to popularity after playing the role of Veer Singh Bundela in TV show, Uttaran. “Nandish is a keen learner. He was excited about learning and took everything taught to him very seriously,” says a source close to the actor.

The actor is impressed with Pooja, the girl who taught him sign language and calls her a great teacher. “I’ve had sign language lessons and it was overwhelming to have a teacher like Pooja. She was a fabulous teacher and I hope I was a good student,” says the actor.
