Asource close to Irrfan Khan (down) has revealed that the actor wanted to take something away from the sets of his recently released film, Talvar, as a memory of his work. Irrfan, who was seen as investigating officer Ashwin Kumar in the film, requested director Meghna Gulzar if he could keep the spectacles he wore in the film as a souvenir.

“Irrfan gives his 100% to all the movies that he has done so far, but some projects are so close to his heart that he wants to keep a part of his character with him forever. So, he decided to keep the specs with him even after the movie was done with,” says a source close to the actor, whose work in movies such as Paan Singh Tomar(2012), The Lunchbox (2013) and Piku (2015) has been appreciated.

Irrfan’s spokesperson confirms the news, saying, “He wanted the specs from the movie, as the project and the overall experience was special for him.”
