Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor (above) feels that Yash Chopra-produced 1977 film Doosra Aadmi, starring him and wife Neetu Singh (inset), had a contemporary and bold storyline. The 63-year-old actor, whose film clocked 38 years recently, shared the poster of the film in Twitter.

“Good film, ahead of its time by Ramesh Talwar (director),” he captioned the poster. The love story also starred Shashi Kapoor, Raakhee and Deven Verma.

Filmmaker Karan Johar’s upcoming directorial venture Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma, is said to be a remake of Doosra Aadmi. However, Karan had denied the report. He had said, “I don’t understand where it’s coming from.”
