NO ROOM FOR DIF­FER­ENCE BE­TWEEN SAL­MAN AND ME: SOORAJ BAR­JATYA

Film­maker Sooraj Bar­jatya (above) has de­nied re­ports that ac­tor Sal­man Khan (right) wanted him to cut short some of the songs in their forth­com­ing fam­ily drama, in or­der to re­duce its run time. He says there is “no room for any dif­fer­ence” be­tween them.

Re­cently, there have been re­ports that Sal­man was not happy with the length of the film and there­fore asked Bar­jatya to cut short some of the songs, as the au­di­ences will not like the long du­ra­tion of the movie.

How­ever, Sooraj says that the news is “com­pletely false” and the two have “im­mense love and re­spect for each other”.

“I have no idea where th­ese ru­mours are com­ing from. They are com­pletely false. Sal­man bhai and I have im­mense love and re­spect for each other and there is no room for any dif­fer­ence. We are both very proud of the film we have made,” says Sooraj.

Sal­man and Sooraj, are re­turn­ing to the sil­ver screen to­gether af­ter al­most two decades, have worked in hit films Maine Pyar Kiya (1989), Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! (1994) and Hum Saath - Saath Hain (1999).
