A Shraddha retired hurt from film shoot
The actor has returned to Mumbai from Shillong due to an eye injury even before the shoot of Rock On sequel started
few days back, an excited Shraddha Kapoor took off to Shillong, Meghalaya, to start shooting for the Rock On!! (2008) sequel. Now, we have found out that the young actor is back in Mumbai, and is nursing an eye injury. “Shraddha was in Shillong with the rest of the film’s team. She was looking forward to starting work on the movie,” says an insider.
However, a few days in, the actor felt an uncomfortable sensation in the eye, which kept getting worse with each passing day. “When the team took her to a local eye doctor, it was diagnosed that there was a scratch on the cornea of her eye,” adds the insider.
When the pain did not subside, Ritesh Sidhwani, the producer of the film, asked her to fly back to Mumbai to get it checked thoroughly. “In fact, as soon as Shraddha landed in the city, she didn’t go home. Instead, she went straight to her eye doctor,” adds the insider.
When contacted, Shraddha confirmed the news, and said, “Something flew into my eye, causing immense pain. An eye specialist in Shillong checked it out, and we found out that it had caused a scratch on my cornea. Luckily, I wasn’t going to be shooting for a few days, so I came back to Mumbai to get it checked out by my eye doctor. I will join the team shortly.”
