Filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh (top) and actor Vidya Balan (above) seem to have made peace and rekindled their recently-soured friendship.

Ghosh uploaded a picture of The Dirty Picture actor getting ready for a shot and captioned it as “working with an old friend.”

The duo’s friendship hit a rough patch after Balan reportedly walked out of Ghosh’s movie, Durga Rani Singh, at the last minute citing health issues. Ghosh had to incur heavy losses as most arrangements were already made in Kolkata. In January this year, when we asked her what her equation with the filmmaker was, she had told us, “(Sujoy) and I are not communicating with each other at all, and I don’t know what the future holds.”

Balan, who recently joined Twitter was welcomed by Ghosh, who tweeted a behind-the-scenes video of their National Award-winning film, Kahaani (2012) on the microblogging site and wrote, “In honour of your majesty joining Twitter. To which Balan, replied, “Ki bolche Sujoy Ghosh?”
